Summer Camp

AGES 2 TO 12 YEARS

  • Take a tour around the world in 40 days!

    For Summer 2020, Apple Montessori campers will receive a passport to a top-secret adventure! Campers will have a safe, fun, and enriching summer following the Wacky Professor McIntosh ‘Around the World in 40 Days’!

    Apple Montessori Summer Camp is filled with non-stop fun AND learning.

    Our campers love the exciting environment that our program offers. Most locations offer daily recreational swim with Red Cross certified instructors, and for other locations, campers can still enjoy water-play activities in our new Splash Pads. 

    Additional adventures and activities include coding, robotics, music, drama, arts, sports, outdoor fun, Montessori lessons, and more! 

     

    Learning has never been more FUN!

  • On-site camp features:

    • Daily recreational swim is offered by Red Cross certified lifeguards. Available at these locations: Kinnelon, Mahwah, Oakland, Randolph, Towaco, and Wayne.
    • Daily water play with Splash Pads will be available at these locations: Edison Woodbridge Ave., Cliffside Park, Edgewater, Metuchen.
    • Camp class sizes are limited due to COVID-19 state guidelines. Please visit our Health & Safety Page to learn how we follow and exceed the guidelines set by the CDC and our federal, state, and local officials to keep our campers safe.
    • Staffed year-round by experienced teachers and support staff.
    • Outdoor activities including sports/games based on that week’s theme, and free play utilizing age-appropriate playgrounds.
    • Three special events (theme days) in each week’s calendar.
    • Over an hour of Montessori class time a day for all students using the materials working in Practical Life, Math, Sensorial, Language, Science, and Geography.
    • Each child will be assessed to determine their current skill level and weekly packets of individualized learning materials will be provided for different skill levels in Math, Language Arts, Science, and Geography. Pre-recorded instruction is included for use at any time.
    • Reading Group for children ages 4 and up every day.

    Campers work on hands-on lab experiments and other STEAM activities.

  • Crafts & Creations:
    Campers discover their inner artist based on the travel weekly themes.

  • Tech Time:
    Campers will explore computer-based activities, including our exciting FasTracks program.

  • Celebrity Kids:
    Campers explore the many aspects of performance art— music theory, singing, dancing, acting, and playing music.

  • Daily Montessori Lessons:
    including Practical Life, Math, Sensorial, Language, Science, and Geography.

  • All-Star Action:
    Campers will participate in exciting games and exercises that fit the theme of the week.
