Apple Montessori Schools offer accredited Montessori Plus programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners and a highly-regarded summer camp program. Dedicated early childhood professionals nurture the innate potential of every student in a fun, loving and safe environment. Not only are Apple Kindergartners two grades ahead (on average), they are confident, independent, kind and well-rounded young people.
“If you are looking for a safe and great environment for your children, you should definitely look at this school. Our children have never been happier there building their confidence, competence, self-esteem and respect for others… as a parent you will get an excellent update on your child’s progress. I highly recommend this school. My children love going to school.”

Children reading by age 4 is the norm. Using unique games and materials makes learning fun and our students successful.

Children are introduced to famous artists, learn about the medium and technique, and recreate their own masterpieces with hands-on projects.
Program is purely thematic, not sophisticated (for example, make a snowflake in winter.)
Apple students learn how to set the table, and take out their own lunch - which builds independence and confidence.
Children sit at pre-set table and wait to be served lunch.
“I walk out of AMS every day being more impressed than I was the day before. The staff is attentive, professional and always positive. The facility is immaculate, secure, and extremely well organized. I feel fortunate to be a part of the AMS family and know that my child’s academic success is being built by a solid foundation.”
By the age of four, most Apple Montessori students can read, and read well. It's due to our unique teaching approach that uses a combination of hands-on materials, games, phonics and our specialized teacher training systems that have been refined over 45 years.
Reading skills start in our toddler classes, where even our youngest students learn their letters and sounds through our "fun rhymes" and "sound cards." You really need to see it to believe it - so come see it!
Using fun and unique art activities, each child practices the styles and techniques that made the masters of art so remarkable. Through hands-on projects, biographical stories, and illustrations, children learn about famous artists as they observe, reflect, and then create their own masterpieces!
Math education at Apple Montessori begins with a fascinating assortment of games and challenges that engage your child and make math fun. At the same time, these activities facilitate a strong understanding of numerical concepts and operations.
Most of our students will learn to multiply and divide by the age of five. These are skills typically not learned until the second grade. It's just one more example of how an Apple Montessori pre-school education prepares students for a lifetime of academic success.
Courtesy, compassion, and respect are important parts of the curriculum at Apple Montessori, as well as responsibility, cooperation and caring. While there are many topics covered, one of our favorites (as well as the favorite of most parents) is "How to be Polite and Kind."
The result is a child who possesses the tools to develop into a strong, competent and caring person. We even teach yoga to help build inner strength and manage challenging emotions. Come meet and engage with our students. We're confident you'll be impressed.
At Apple Montessori, children learn their letters by sight, feel, and texture, as well as by more traditional methods. We've found that students as young as four years old are ready to make the connection between the sounds of spoken language and the written symbols for those sounds.
Through the use of textured letters and the movable alphabet, spelling skills are developed without the child ever picking up a pencil. Once these skills are in place, the physical act of writing is practiced and mastered.
Children learn best in a safe environment. That’s why our schools offer the latest in
safety and security, which you’ll see firsthand on a tour.
